Having extended trading hours is good for the community.
Traditional advertising is no longer effective.
Mac operating systems are superior to Microsoft operating systems.
The internet filter trialled by the federal government is a good idea for Australia.
Suicide and attempted suicide should be made illegal (again).

Gay marriage, right or wrong? illegal or legal in Australia?
Castya Semenyia, should she have been kicked from the olympics?
Boat people, do they deserve to come into Australia?

Video games in which civilians are killed by the player should be banned.
Digital downloads are a more effective way of good distribution to physical media.

Harry Potter vs Twilight - the final fight =p

That one should be easy, there aren't many Twi-Hards around here.

Should parental consent be required for underage pregnant women to have abortions?

My ideas:

Video Games are making children violent
Police using speed cameras for revenue raising (sorry for stealing it martin, but i feel the same-jsh.)
Music influences how we grow (eg: from a baby listening to Mozart increasing iq/ teens listening to Eminem making them rebels)

Each team gets their own private thread where they can discuss tactics and rebuttals etc?

How you are going to approach it, try and brainstorm what the other team will come up with, brainstorm what you will come up with. Plenty of stuff.

Yeah that's about it Miniman. Gotta have a plan.

The order in which the arguments are presented, and if you have a particularly good one, the best place to use it.
