Getting socially awkward people who never leave the house, to go out when they normally wouldn't, to do more of the things that make them socially awkward.

That is awesome, I'd go to a place like that if there was one in Perth, but the owners of the place would have to be careful to make sure that no one tries to steal or break anything, I can imagine that there would be a few troublemakers like that. I guess that's what the bouncers are for lol, but also mixing a bar with games could potentially mean spilled drinks on consoles lol. Still, I think that is freaking awesome. Hopefully, a place like that opens in Perth in the next few years lol.

I don't think the consoles would be in plain view for people to rest their drinks on, they'd most likely be behind perspex and only the staff can access them. It's an awesome idea .
