I have an old CD installed version, patched to work on Windows 7, I should hope it would be compatible with the Steam release for online play. I'd like to keep my old teams and ****...

EDIT: I asked Team17, there should be no issue with playing between CD and Steam versions. And there's been yet another update patch released this year. 14 years on and they're still keeping the game up to date

Same thing. WWP was just WA with go-faster stripes. It really was just like an add-on pack. Same frontend menus and everything, just different graphics. And it was never as popular online as WA so I stuck with that.

So, basically what I'm saying is you're not going to notice a difference in gameplay, so grab a copy and let's play
