Should it matter what someone is wearing?

It shouldn't really matter what they wear. Real beauty isn't skin deep. It's certainly not worth arguing over at any rate in my opinion

When I was in a relationship I often told my girlfriend when I didn't like her clothing, I wasn't afraid of saying that at all because I see it as constructive criticism. At the same time I complimented her when I liked her outfit. I see no problem with saying that, if a guy is really scared of giving his girlfriend comments like that, then I would think there must be something wrong with the relationship.

There is a difference between giving somebody constructive feedback and just being insulting...

Saying you don't like it is not constructive criticism.
