According to a recent poll, one in four men hate their partner's clothing, but are too afraid to tell them in case it starts a fight.

Should it matter what someone is wearing?
Would you tell them you didn't like what they were wearing?

Seeing as I am the only girl around here, I would like to hear your opinion.

Well, you shouldn't have to fight about it, but some women would turn it into a fight.

It shouldn't really matter what they wear. Real beauty isn't skin deep. It's certainly not worth arguing over at any rate in my opinion

When I was in a relationship I often told my girlfriend when I didn't like her clothing, I wasn't afraid of saying that at all because I see it as constructive criticism. At the same time I complimented her when I liked her outfit. I see no problem with saying that, if a guy is really scared of giving his girlfriend comments like that, then I would think there must be something wrong with the relationship.

If you said that, you would be asking for it.

Well yes of course.

There is a difference between giving somebody constructive feedback and just being insulting...

Saying you don't like it is not constructive criticism.
