As you probably know, all QANTAS flights have been cancelled until further notice.

This is due to unions calling for "ridiculous demands" over the past 9 months, which distupts about 15000 passengers per week. So the CEO, Alan Joyce has stopped all flights until it is all sorted out.


I personally think that the end is very near for QANTAS. They are running out of money fast. They can't pay their staff what they deserve, and their planes are having so many difficulties.

Is this going to be like Ansett all over again?

I really hope that none of you or your friends and family have not had any flights cancelled, because I can imagine how stressful that would be.

What do you guys think about the situation?

Luckily I went to Canberra before this happened or I'd be flying some crappy untrusted airline service.
