DIAMONDS! Which are such a pain to get..... Do people reckon Diamond tools are worthwhile? Or is it better to make armor and weapons from it to keep just for showing off? Expect in the case of obsidian blocks which you need a diamond pickaxe for if you dont want to locate craft it like Kevlarshock told me about which made me get a portal to the nether with out having iron tools yet....

If the question were about gold, I would say hell no.

Diamond tools are awsome in like every way for speed and durability but given how rare diamonds are it seems a bit of a waste, I know diamonds only grow on levels 12-15 but they are so rare it makes me feel like I should just stash them up, and I am totally going to put this out there, gold armor and tools and weapons are wicked fun to just make 1 of each and store them for bragging rights like my idea of diamond armor, just because it kinda reminds me of Tomas in Raymond E. Feist's books

Ok well Tomas got the spirit of an extict race of dragon riders leader inside him when he found some gold armor and his armor and weapons are gold but magic to maintain strength compared to how soft gold is, Magician is my fave book from when I first read it in year 7, in that year I read every single book he ever wrote spending long nights up reading his stories always dying to see what happened next... Lol
