Am I the only person who has spent 24hours+ straight sitting at a computer? o.O Wow? Come on guys xD

I was 14 at the time.. and i got on the computer around 11pm on a friday night and stopped at 8pm on the Sunday

I played DotA on the Original Battlenet. Servers that were used for Blizzard (Warcraft 2 & 3 and Starcraft even Diablo)

Oh the days of online strategy games.. on dial-up, so much lag you think twice about playing, Although all the flamewars and Trolling keeps you in trying to be better then that Random dude calling you 'Noob' fighting and practicing to beat anyone else who came into your games, with a piece of paper by your side with all the hotkeys and names you needed for the game you want to play. Wether it was just a 3v3, DotA, Line Tower Wars, Hero Wars, Life of a Peasant or even Run Kitty Run the excitement was always there and to win was the goal! Lag was so common it was like drinking water and whenever someone lagged everyone would spam 'd' and 'drop' the lagging players. The amount of skill and experience you would need/gain from playing these games with such an intense lag, led to being able to judge where your opponents were gonna be and what they were gonna do, nothing could stop you if you knew how to play, nothing would stop you from being the best! Nothing would stop you! NOTHING!! unless.. someone called the phone, well then you're gone. ahh Nostalgia! My good ole' friend.

Those WERE the good old days . Run kitty run, kodo wars (with the high pitched "In the end" by Linkin Park. Playing mortred "PA" and getting 1k crits. And yes, phone ringing and you are gone, no dc and reconnect time. That was it. d d d d d d d d

And did I forget to mention how godly diablo 2 is? Multiplayer online playing along and having pros join your game and dump a heap of good stuff on you. now that was cool .

Ah Mijy soo nice to know that you can relate. I also really enjoyed playing.. hmm was it called "Winter tower wars?" maybe >.> lol but there was definitely some good times.

I remember all those frustrating times of winning a game and you're so close to victory, only to have the phone ring, then having that sinking feeling of all that time wasted... Damn you telemarketers! DAMN YOU TO HELL!!
