Well, im sitting here watching the movie Titanic, and well seeing as no one else is awake and watching it, i thaugh i might aswell share my thought with the internet..
Personally, i think it is a masterpiece, im not really into romance, but this isa really great movie, definatly worth watching.
I lobe the way they have depicted the whole scenario.
However, i really dont like the fact that people actually make movies about disasters like this jsut to make money. I think its completely immoral and show a lack of respect to those who actually died.
It really sickens me, its sad. This isn't an excuse to make millions off the ACTUAL suffering of others, the people who made this movie probably wouldnt even care for those who died, i have a fair bet that the movie makers wouldnt even show the slightest remorce, when they are rolling in the bills. All they care about is the money.

Wel those are my thoughts..

well the public is more at fault then the film makers as they wouldnt be able to make movies unless the film studios thought it would make a profit. So you have to ask yourself why do we like seeing disasters depicted in film?

I don't think it's a lack of respect, they show the pain that the people on the ship would have been in during the actual event. They didn't try to cover it up or make it seem happy or anything.

My favorite part was when it ended and you get to leave. That was awesome.

Thats what i dont like about it, the whole fact of them showing the suffering etc..

Mocking their deaths? They went through the years of production and hard work to honor them. They produced a film like this so that they can show the world, the hardships, the troubles and the perseverance that they had and went through.
Not all people are immoral, greedy, and selfish. Some in the movie business are actually great people, and if they didn't care for something like this, they wouldn't have been able to make a movie that was so effective at moving people.

They probably went through years of production diving 2.5kms down to the sea floor, replicationg a ship, and the effects to match!
And they cant of done a very good job either, the movie didnt move me at all..
But thats what i dont like about the movie either, that people are exploiting the hardship, the troubles and the perseverance they went through, just so they can make millions of dollars..
